I'm a Guide Dog Owner and my life wouldn't be my life if it wasn't for Ellie, my four-year-old Golden Retriever. I'm in my Twenties but feel eternally fifteen. I love tea with honey, baking, knitting, wood and beach adventures.
I love to blog about books and combine by blind experiences with equality and accessibility campaigning on my other blog. I'm also co-creator of The Shadow Shelves which is a blind/visually impaired collaborative blog project that I started up last month with 5 other bilnd/vi friends. We post book reviews, discussions and take part in book tags, all aiming to encourage a passion for reading and learning while promoting the need for equality and accessibility within the Book Community at large. We all have a voice online and we're not afraid to use it. We like to work with Authors to promote their books in different formats. The biggest issue we face right now is that the UK is refusing to buy a lot of American authors book rights and providing us with Audiobook editions. So that's my passion at the moment.
